Understanding Diverse and StrugglingLearners in Reading

Understanding Diverse & Struggling Learners in Reading evaluates various theories, issues, and practices of literacy instruction in various academic settings for struggling EC-12 learners including diverse linguistic, cultural, economic, and academic backgrounds. Students will apply this knowledge to diversify reading instruction to meet the needs of individual learners and help inform the reading specialist as an instructional leader in meeting the needs of all students.
