Description
An extensive supervised experience at a field site that provides for the continued development and practice of skills learned in EDSC 6316 - Practicum I for School Counseling: Field Experience. Practicum II for School Couseling provides an opportunity for actual on the job exposure to specific functions of school counselors. Graduate candidates function as educational decision makers as they become actively involved in the implementation of comprehensive, collaborative, and developmental school counseling programs. A candidate must earn a final grade of B (3.0, minimum) in the practicum/internship course in order to recieve credit. If not, the course will need to be repeated. This course contains a field-based service-learning component.
