Description

This course provides a systematic approach to designing instruction using learning technologies. The course includes theoretical framework associated with the design and development of instructional materials for various learning environments (i.e., traditional, hybrid, online, synchronous, asynchronous) and educational contexts (i.e., K12, higher education or corporate training). Instructional design is a creative process in which student will use the fundamental knowledge of the learning theories and technology frameworks to construct a meaningful learning experience. The course equips students with computational and design thinking process so that students can examine, evaluate, and find solutions to issues and challenges of instructional design.
