Description
This course is a continuation of the MAIR 5311 Global Internship, MAIR 5112 Global Internship II and MAIR 5113 Global Internship III courses. It is a domestic cross-cultural international internship experience (paid or unpaid). The students may also travel abroad to learn from a proficient foreign-based leader in a cross cultural setting for a minimum of one semester (15-weeks) accumulating 300-640 hours of job training experience. Students receive apprenticeship guidance for their hands-on service and mentorship from an accomplished leader in their field. Students will continue to improve their functional and leadership skills through a field experience that tests their abilities in cross-cultural settings. The course requires an opportunity for the student to incorporate leadership, personal faith, and cross-cultural theories with practice as the student observes management or strategies from a leader in an international context.
