Foundational Life Coaching I

Students will learn the key concepts, theories, models, and eleven core compentencies as defined by the International Coaching Federation. This course will explore the philosophical and biblical foundations of coaching as a human developmental methodology and its potential as a career option. The basic structure and techniques of interviewing and listening will be introduced and practiced. Instruction is largely experiential and is designed to engage students with little or no experience in counseling or coaching as well as experienced practitioners.
