Effective Mentorships

It is important for leaders to not only improve team performance; they must also develop new leaders and create a sustainable legacy. Improving the performance of others through mentoring and coaching will be examined in this course. Topics include comprehending and applying mentoring and coaching skills and tools in planned and opportunistic settings. Critical skills that promote effective mentoring and coaching include listening, questioning, reframing and permission. Participants will also learn how to provide effective feedback and with a focus on high performers.
