Reading Methods and Materials inContext Area

Different strategies and materials for reading in grades 4-12 are explored. Reading to learn versus learning to read is the emphasis for content area application. The relationship of listening, speaking, and writing to reading is emphasized. Attention is given to differentiated instruction for the diverse needs of students in a multi- cultural setting.
