Description
This course examines the theory and practice of corporate financial decision making to maximize the firm's value. The major topics include capital budgeting, risk-return relationship and capital market theory, market efficiency, capital structure, dividend policy, long-term financing and working capital management. Selected cases will be analyzed in conjunction with these topics. The Ph.D. version of this course covers a more in-depth study of the selected topics in corporate finance, including literature reviews. Also, the students will develop possible future research topics.
