Piano Proficiency

A credit, non-credit examination of cumulative functional piano skills evaluated by a jury of piano faculty members. Music majors must register for this examination during the semester that they intend to complete the final secondary piano level required for their specific degree. (Specific level requirements are outlined in the Department of Music Handbook.) Credit for the successful completion of the proficiency examination will be recorded on the student's official transcript. There is no tuition charge or academic course hour credit for this course number.
