Almost every business is confronted with some type of lawsuit every eight years. This course gives the student an overall understanding of the litigation process from pre-lawsuit negotiation settlement to final judgement. After taking the course, the student will be able to assist the attorney with answering the lawsuit, making proper objections to discovery requests, and preparing for depositions. Role-playing of deposition and trial gives the student invaluable experience.
