This course provides an examination of the business of professional, club, and college sports. Emphasis will be given to the areas where the features of the sports industry give rise to different challenges and opportunities than those found in other businesses. Topics include athletes and agents, sport marketing, broadcasting and media, stadiums and arenas, and financial valuation and profitability.
