Description
A one semester course to introduce the environmental science major to quantitative analysis and design techniques that are the essence of the kind of issues the graduate will need to address. Key principles of environmental science required in any quantitative treatment of environmental principles, including essential chemistry, mathematical functions, and risk assessment is covered. Major environmental problems in water, air and solid waste are addressed. Prerequisite; ENSC 2301, CHEM 1401, concurrent enrollment in CHEM 1402 and MATH 3308
