Introduction to Engineering Practice I

This course will help the students gain an understanding of what engineers do, including problem solving and critical thinking. The engineering design process will be taught and reenforced with open-ended labs where the students will design, build, test, and give a written and oral presentation of their project. The students will gain a working knowledge of SolidWorks, improve their communication skills, be introduced to the different engineering disciplines, engineering societies, safety, and engineering ethics. Lab fee.
