Description

A study of historical and description linguistics as a basis for examining problems in oral and wirtten communication. This course explores correlations between linguistics and speech therapy and the support that linguistics can provide for the study of comparative literature and for rhetoric and composition. Another aspect of this course is to introduce sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics and the significance of cultural anthropology in the translating process.
