Teaching Practicum in the SecondarySchool

This course provides students seeking all level certification the opportunity to observe, assist, and teach in the secondary school under the supervision of experienced teachers in locally accredited schools. Students will be required to (a) provide their own transportation, (b) participate in pre-service traning during the Fall semester of the academic year, and (c) successfully complete the teaching practicum for a minimum of seven-eight weeks (the student is to be concurrently enrolled in EDUC 5307; seven-eight weeks of student teaching is required for each course).
