Evaluation of Instruction

The course focuses on the components of individual and group assessment with special application to educational settings. Included is an introduction to measurement theory, including test construction, standardization, reliability, validity, and item analysis. A survey is made of standardized tests and their uses. Each student will also be required to compile a portfolio. This course must be taken as part of the student teaching semester.
