This course is designed to help you, the examinee, prepare for the Examination for the Certification of Educators in Texas (ExCet). The specific con- tent and questions for the ExCet are not available from the testing services. The course will focus on content and sample questions from preparation manuals distributed by the National Evaluation Systems, Inc. Students who have taken the ExCet have been consulted. Preparation materials from experts will be used. Information will be gleaned from the publication, 'Proficiencies for Teachers in Learner-Centered Schools.'
