Texas Peace Officer Procedures

A study of the techniques and procedures used by police officers on patrol. Includes controlled substance identification, handling abnormal persons, traffic collision investigation, notetaking and report writing, vehicle operation, traffic direction, crowd control, and jail operations. This is a four hour credit course and is taught as lecture (3) and lab (4) with a minimum of 112 contact hours.
