This course is designed to assist student in draw- ing from several theories of play therapy in meet- ing individual client needs. Emphasis will be on verbal and non-verbal responses to the child that facilitate exploration of a child's feelings and thoughts. Students will learn how to use toys, verbal and non-verbal responses in a variety of therapeutic relationships. Prerequisite: COUN 6389. Spring
