Description
Introduction to analysis of algorithms, with examples taken from: combinatorics, including algorithms for unordered and ordered sets, graphs, matrices; numerical methods, including number- theoretic algorithms, real number and polynomial arithmetic, random numbers, and matrix operation; systems programming, including pattern matching, language processing, scheduling and synchronization algorithms, sorting and searching. Prerequisites: COSC 3405 and MATH 3302
