Global Competitiveness

A seminar which investigates contemporary issues in global competitiveness by considering the opposing arguments offered by leading experts in the field. The topics to be studied will include National Industrial Policy, Trading Bloc Theories, NAFTA, The European Community, Japan & the Four Tigers, dumping and other related issues. The unique approach of this offering will involve the use of 'video conferencing.' The students will be addressed by the experts from their locations around the U.S. and further the students will be given the opportunity to interact with the experts via the video conferencing technology.
