Essential Knowledge of Art

An introduction to the essential elements of art for grades K-8: perceiving, expressing, appreciating and evaluating. Study of vocabulary, elements, priciples and philosophy of art, and creative growth of the child. Suitable art activities for various levels, development of art skills, and practical application in presenting a program of current art studies will be implemented. Museum field trip required.
