This course presents the current theory and pro- cedures used by internal auditors, and examines the internal auditing process and the auditing skills specific to internal auditing. Internal auditing includes both managerial and financial audits of non-profit and for-profit organizations. Emphasis will be on professional standards, inter- nal controls, and statistical methods. Prerequisite: ACCT 5311
